My johndeere skidsteer 250 broke down out in the field I would like to get it to the barn This thing will not move when i try towing the drive pumps are like locked up do these need to be removed please help help

First off, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v165/kgregc/MTF/attachment.gif to MTF. I'm sorry your post seems to have slipped through the crack, so to speak. Were you able to move your skidsteer? I have no experience with your problem, but hopefully moving this back up, someone will jump in.

I've never owned one neither but I'd say that your best bet would be to winch it on to a trailer. Maybe there is a way to bypass the pumps or internal brakes. Might give your local dealer a call and see how they get around the locked wheels.

The only one I've ever messed with was a Case. The hydraulic motors were in the center on each side, and were connected to the wheels with chains. If I remember correctly, we were able to push/pull it by having someone in there operating the levers.
