My vet just left. She came out today to do the annual checkup on the dogs and now the two barn cats. I swore when I got those cats I wasn't going to invest any money in them and here I am doling it out for vaccinations. Everybodys healthy, no heart in the dogs. A few earmites on the cats which we can control with flea and tick medicine. All total including the farm call it was $244..

Yeah...$40 for a farm call. I've brought here out on my steers and pigs too.

To me its worth it having a farm call made, especially since we have 6 dogs. Our vet only charges $30 for a farm call, plus what ever the shots or other stuff he has to do......Just the hassle of moving 6 dogs in and out of the vets office, etc is worth it....And I also do not expose them to any possible nasties in the waiting room either.

Well I have 2 dogs and 2 cats which equates to 2 trips....well worth it to me too.
