That's ok we do not care where you post as long as you have fun. John the admin or one of the supers can move this thread to the compacts later.

So whats the story on what you did to the tractors FEL to make it level when using it?

This was just a fun modification to help me determine when the bucket was level. The factory original was a little less desirable to me. I'm always trying to make some thing so I thought I would share this easy cheap project with everyone.

Barnboy - How did you mount your device to the tractor bucket pivot points? Did you have to modify the bolts that're in there? And what did you use for your metal pieces? Plated? Stainless? What paint did you use? Could I get you to make me one for a fee?

rtd Yes I can make one for you. I used a 3/8" stainless rod but it was very $$. I paid $12 for the rod and $16 to ship from McmasterCarr. I also bought 2 new pins for the loader just in case i wanted to return everything to normal.I think the pins were $40 for both. Not nessasary to buy new i could use my old ones for yours and when you recieve new you could send me your old pins. this would help keep cost down.I also had to buy the rod end on the lower end. I think it was around $5. I would do it for you at cost of materials but it could be $100 by the time i order parts and ship to you.It could be cheaper if i used a zinc coated 3/8" rod. The rest of the parts I can get from the scrap bin at work. The paint was something I found at farm and fleet. I'll have to get the name. Its a good match. Let me know how you want to proceed.
