This is in response to the woman who holds a snatch record. The record for a man's two-hands snatch is about 270 pounds, I think.

We better not talk about two hands clean and jerk, one hand clean and jerk, one hand snatch, one hand swing or one hand anyhow.

Who came up with these names anyway?

I don't know, but I got in trouble on another forum when I posted the other snatch thread from this site, over on the other forum. Another reason I like this site...at least here you guys can take a joke for what it is.....just good natured humor.

At one time I had a list of words that could sound dirty but aren't. Haven't seen it in years. As I recall these were on the list;
squat
standing ovation

don't rember if snatch or clean & jerk were on the list

HMMMM this could be interesting. Now if I could just remember the rest......

Well, I do know that a "crupper" would be below the "coccyx"...
