Its not a "big" tractor but I did not know where to place this thread. I bought an Allis Chalmers 810 GT lawn and garden tractor this weekend. It has a 10 HP Briggs and Stratton Engine and a 42" mower deck. I have it running now and it cuts good. I just wanted to know if there was any information available for this tractor and any hints on adjusting the drive belts and mower deck belt tensions, the belts are slipping when going up an incline. I will post a picture tomorrow when the cloudy weather passes.

Info (http://www.simpletractors.com/models/800_series/808_and_810.htm)
I know you can still get the parts manual through ytmag.com and ssbtractor.com, not sure about the owner's one though.
It looks like it's the same as the Simplicity 6008 model.
You should definitely check out the www.simpletractors.com site, there's a lot of great info over there.

Found great information on that site, thanks.
The tractor has new drive and mower belts. I had to adjust the belt guides and tension to get everything working like it should. I still am having trouble selecting a gear. It had to close up the yoke a little, there was too much play causing the gear to be half in half out. Cut some grass this afternoon, this is my first deck with a rollers, leaves nice stripes on the lawn.
