Need help finding a part

Hey guys i need some help finding a solenoid for my 284. I hate seeing it just set in the barn. Besides our grass sure is getting tall around here. Thought maybe one of you guys could give us some ideas on finding one for it. Thanks :fing32:

We have several IH experts here at this forum. One of our Moderators, parts man, can probably help you out specifically.

A lot of the solenoids that I have seen are like the ones that are used on Ford and Chrysler cars. If yours looks like that you should be able to get a substitute at an auto parts store.

You can enquire online at www.cngo.com. "Bermuda" Ken Updike, will be more than happy to supply you with the required solenoid. Carter and Grunewald are great people to deal with. All that I have heard about them on the forums I belong to is that they are top flight people with top flight prices...
