:bannana: Sonny you have showed us all this equipment, but nothing for farming except the subsoiler. Are you sure that you are a farmer? I know that you have to have play time between planting and harvesting, or between morning and night chores.

We are wopping big time farmers,(137 acres!!!!!!) By todays standards it really dosen't even put us in the running, but we get by. Our two big tractors are on this site,AC 440's (twins) have JD 730, IH 560 AC 190xt-d, a few others in sick bay, IH 715-D combine IH 400 cyclo, 8 row deere, 2- 4row 495-a deere planters 3 moldboard plows( don't use them too much anymore), and a bunch of misc. stuff!!!!! sonny

Do you use it? Seems like the ticket to smooth those rutted farm roads!!

We use it for waterway maintainence on the farm and it does keep the long driveway like a super- track! One year we had a lot of snow, so I put the big V-plow on and kept our road here at the house open so we could get out. Live on dead end road that no one claims, so getting out can be a real problem!!
The little BD-3 needs a final drive changed, I have one to put in, but not sure if my bod. can handle it! thanks;sonny

That grader sounds like just what Slipshod needed the day before this years deer hunting season. Two foot of heavy wet snow. He said that even the county dumptrucks were having trouble.

When I was on the farm our milk man had a big Moline tractor (sorry don't know what model) that he had his hired man plow in front of his tanker. So everyone on his route had their road and barn drive cleared before the county had their trucks out.

Now if a tractor can do that, what could your grader do?

It blasts through some deep stuff, have had to back up and take a run at some of the 8' deep drifts, but the shorter ones don't bother much!! thanks; sonny

Here is the V-plow blade for the 45. We keep it on this old trailer so it's up off the ground.
The wife made me stand by the blade, for idea of size, (I'm 5'7"), so you can see how tall the wings are. It clears a 10' path in one pass. thanks; sonny

That is moving a lot of snow. Looks as big as the ones that are used on locomotives!

I would think that 8' drifts would challenge most anything. Especially if it is packed too!

When you are in the drivers seat looking down thru the V, it's kind of like driving a locomotive!!! thanks; sonny

Stuck it one time, beleive it or not, but cut a VW bug in half ,turned me crossways into the ditch!! Luckly no one in car! VW was left sitting in middle of road, snow piled up over it and froze down! Had the ol'e 45 hammer down (18mph), was 3:00 am, snow was blowing like you couldn't believe, next thing the front end went crossways, and I was done!!! thanks; sonny

Snowplowing with grader, or big jobbie (pics in truck section here) was always a tricky job. It never really botherd me too much, some guys couldn't seem to handle it!
Had some old 126 & 110 camera pics from the plow days, will see if I can find and scan some, if the scanner is compatable!!
