: IH 100 manure spreader

I just scored this cute little manure spreader yesterday. (I never thought I would use "cute" and "manure" in the same sentence) I am pretty sure it is IH because I found the logo on some parts. It has a 100 in a ciricle and MANURE SPREADER barely visible on the side. The plan is to convert it to horse drawn. I am looking for any info I can find about it. thanks

That's nice, must have been stored inside. I had a John Deer Model E once and that was horse drawn. Wish I could help, if you get the chance keep us posted with pictures.

The model 100 was specifically built for the Farmall Cub tractor. They stated building them in the late forties. You have something that a cub collector really wants.:congrats:

I wonder where the IH decal was. I can see the 100 in a circle and "MANURE SPREADER" plus the warnings on the front. I can duplicate all those with my stencil cutter. I won't disturb the spreader for collector value. I will make a hitch cart to use it behind horses. I wonder what kind of value it has.
BTW, all the nuts/bolts are still square headed.

Here is a decal on ebay. This guy may be able to help with placement.

IH Cub100 Spreader

Kind of rare to find one in complete condition with the chain guards in place. If the floor is good and there is no major perforation at the floor it should pull a pretty penny.

Contact Maple-Hunter Decals for the correct pack fro your spreader. I have had a few and they are very nice.

It seems to be all intact and complete. It was in use when it was parked in favor of a larger unit. The floor isn't real good but we will use it as is until it fails. Since the tires were rotted into the ground, I would imagine it has been a few decades since it saw use. Some of the moving parts, like the levers, seem kinda stuck.

Thanks for posting the pics. Now I know what brand/model I have, which is exactly like that.
However, yours is in much better shape. I pulled mine with the B6000, but it now needs some work before I sell it since we don't have the horses anymore.

Man I like it. The styling is amazing for manure spreader. It's almost like they
made it aerodynamic. It looks much nicer than plain-jane IH 155.
