Good to be back

It's good to have power and phone service again. Just came on today.
We are lucky there are still many going without and may do so till mid November. Wilma ended up hitting worse than predicted but we pulled through o.k. Our county did pretty well structurally, but still lots of damage; could've been worse.
Lots of trees on homes and downed power poles. My house held up like a tank. Only lost one roof tile, can't complain. My barn out back didn't do so good. I'm happy though, like I said it could've been worse. My Grandma lost her trailer, roof peeled off like a can opener was used on it. Everything inside was destroyed.
It's good to be able to read the tractor forum again. Here's some pictures of the aftermath.

Wow. Is this the first damage you have ever had from the hurricane season?
We have a natural disaster every year - winter, except the damage is a lot slower, destroying cars, bridges, roads,,,,,,,,,,

Well your tractor seems to be in fairly good shape, but I sure do feel sad about your truck. I hope your grandmother is doing ok with all her stuff gone. I'll say a prayer for her.

Your right olds...that old craftsman took a beatin and keeps on tickin.
The seat and back fender bent after the building gracefully bounced off of it, but I unchained it from my cooker trailer and fired her right up. I still use that old machine to pull out rocks and mow brush, she smokes a little but keeps on going.
