How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these."

And that someday is here now for me!!

If I remember right, my C is a '49. There are a lot of colors that look good and are not green. I can't tell from your profile where you're from, but I do have most of a plow for a C that I may never use... if you're interested. I'm in northern Ohio.

Hey, BigorangeDan...
My dad has my grandfather's (his dad's) Allis CA at home. Still uses it. He's got several implements for it (as well as a home-made 3-point hitch). One of these days I'll either take some pictures of it myself, or have him do so... Of course... he's in Illinois and I'm in Texas, so it'd probably be a bit easier for him to take the pictures.... :bonk:

Looks good...

Keep enjoying the old iron!!!

BOD or Wingnut,

Does your tractor have hydraulics or 3 point?

Wingnut

Yes it does but it needs work. Right now it is in storage, BOD has been using the Ferguson for the last 8 months

Nice looking C. I have a 1941 C number 552 that im about to get started on doing a complete restore after using it for about 10 years now as our mowing tractor.

When my father and myself bought this tractor we did a mechanical rebuild and not much else but its time for the face lift.

Enjoy your C because we enjoy ours.
