Don't know if you caught my link I posted to a .pdf file of the manual I made several months ago. It has some nice exploded views of the engine. But it is from Sears so I'm not sure whether the part numbers are Sears or Briggs. I did get a carb. rebuild kit for it using the manual. The guy at the local repair shop was still able to cross the numbers. But that was 15 years or so ago now. It's 4MB so it will take awhile to download for dialup internet connections.

I met the guy that has the homestead site at the show last fall at Waynes Agricultural center in NC, his name is Bob Due...Real nice guy who had lots of tillers including an old Ariens Trans-a-Matic. Tillers are how I started my outdoor power equipment hobby. I found an old tiller(Ariens Rocket) out by the side of the road. Since then, I have acquired a very rare Ariens Multimatic as well. Even led to me getting into the tractor scene with Ariens/New Holland.

I am having a heck of a time identifying this tiller. It was made for J.C. Penney, has an 8hp B&S engine and a serial number (tiller) of 3032 8. It is an orange/yellow color mid tine tiller.

Any help in finding out who manufactured it would be greatly appreciated.
