Well I finally ordered the sleeve hitch from Sears. I just wanted to vent for a minute... that was worse than buying a new car. Sears was not easy to work with, in fact I tried to find the hitch somewhere else but they were the only place I could get it. The hitch was on sale for 99.00. I called up the 800 # and they said they couldn't send it to any of the 3 local Sears store in town. Why??? It's listed on the internet right. So send it to me...sure but for a charge of 45.00 shipping. That's crazy 1/2 the price of the hitch.
Second day trying to order...nice english speeking girl. I could finally understand someone on the phone. She again goes with the 45.00 shipping. So I asked about free shipping. Oh yes we have that but it has to be under 70#'s. I asked, how much does it weigh? Oh it's only 45#'s. Well then I get the free shipping. Oh no sorry it says here, only for selected items.

All the local stores are out of stock for this item.

What an ordeal, after being bounced around to 5 different phone #'s and sears reps. I was about to give up.
No one answers the phone at my local store so I finally called the Ft. Myers store which is only 40 minutes away. A salesman there was able to order me the hitch but..........not the one on sale, I had to get the new version (which he couldn't explain what was new about it but the # and the price.

Finally it's ordered and will be in next week at a cost of 130.00. At this point I probably would have paid anything.

I hope all my purchases from sears won't be this exhausting. I guess now that I have the hitch; I can get the other attachments elsewhere.

Q'man,
I'm glad to hear the hitch is on the way. Sorry to hear about all the trouble you had to go through to get it. Now I feel even more lucky that my local sears had some in stock. I'm sure you'll get plenty of use out of it. I'm impressed by how much these little tractors can actually do. If you decide you want a electric lift for it check out Johnny Products. Its a lot cheaper than Sears and has plenty of Power. When I was taking the Deck Off of my tractor the deck wouldn't completely clear to slide it out the side so I hooked up my rake and used it to raise the back up some. It picked the back tires a good 5 or 6 inches off the ground. So it has more than enough power to do what you need. What kind of attachments are you looking at using?

Marty... as far as attachments. I want to pick up the rock rake, like the one you've got. I just hate to deal with that store again. I may search for it elsewhere unless they happen to have one in stock. Would hate to pay shipping on that.
I'm gonna check out that actuator you got that's pretty impressive down pressure.
