It just blows my mind how this great hobby got started, It had to be hard work
not sure on the # of cylynders i don't think i've seen it with the sides open. thats the way it came from factory keep the sun off of you and funnel all that engine heat back

I remember reading about an IH 10-20 model. It was a 4 cylinder, and there were 2 main bearings, roller bearings and lifetime guarenteed. As I remember from the article, IH had to replace VERY few.
the later 10-20 and 15-30 tractors had the roller brgs
i forgot to look again this year but book i have shows that 12-25 as a 2 cylynder

Would that be a twin opposed? One pointed forward and one pointed backward?
doesn't say if it opposed or not but it does say 7x8 bore stroke and 550rpm thats spinning right over for an engine that size back then

Yes Sir that was really spinning; was a few years later before they came out with the power stroke theory.

This Tractor must have been very low production as none of the IHC books I have on hand give any more information than Bear has; even the book on the early models written by RBGrey do not list it.. The reason I asked about twin opposed is this tractor looks remarkably similar to the Coffin Case which was twin opposed; left cyl pointed backward right cylinder pointed forward; however this model may not be as such.
