I just got my hour meter shipped today from nothern tool.

http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=6970&productId=41061&R=41061

After opening noticed no wires. I thought this would be easy.
After doing a search in past threads noticed a few people hooked this one up, and said the wires were there already on the tractor and just plugs in.

Where are these plugs??? Do I need to unhook something else.

My tractor is the husqvarna 22/54. I know some of you guys with the craftsman have just plugged in this meter, would imagine the wiring is the same.

Thanks

They were plugged into this when I found them. I guess to keep it from shorting out.

I got the 2254xp and did notice there were a couple of extra plugs there not hooked into anything. Mine came with a hour meter so I guess I could hook up a tach or something else with those.

Argee,

Thanks to the picture I found the wires...tucked under the battery. That was a good place for them. I feel stupid now, I read how easy it was from another post. Now I know; it really does just plug in. Thanks again for the pictures.

Thanks guys. Now on to the fun stuff like the sleeve hitch.

I tried to order from sears the other day, since it was on sale.
Sleeve hitch was $99.00, but they couldn't ship to any of the local stores. It had to be sent to home address at a pretty cost of $45.00. I told the guy at the store, that's 1/2 the price of the hitch.

Does anyone know someplace else to get this hitch, or do I just need to bite the bullet on this one.

That doesn't sound right. I guess I got lucky. The local Sears store here had it in Stock. I had to order my Rake. I ordered it on a Saturday when I picked up the hitch and they had the Rake at the store on Monday. I'd try another sears in the area first to see if you get a different response. Is it a full size sears or a small home center?

I'd pitch a b!tch when you order it and maybe they'll throw in the freight. You shouldn't be penalized because the local store doesn't carry it.
