My new Legacy is scheduled for delivery this weekend. I can't believe this weather. I'm going to be the only guy on my block mowing in a tropical storm.

Send the rain to me I need it!
It has been raining here for two days straight now. Thank the native american rain dance for that I guess, before these two days it hadn't rained in 6 weeks. Well, one little .10" drizzle, all that did was kick up dust.

Yes I did. Also, luckily I'm one of the few who enjoy all four seasons. I can't wait for the snow to fly to test it out! Of course, I have a long list of projects waiting for the tractor that I'd like to get done before the snow hits us.

I had finished a drainage project a month ago around my garage and end of the driveway in front of the garage (I had a river going across the floor of my garage last winter) and really wanted to see how it went but guess what, no rain for 3 weeks (I also was on a extended vacation at the time) so the last 3 days of the vacation we finally get some rain or should I say a monsoon with all the rain. Well at least I now know the drainage project worked.

I've got a 375' long driveway. I opted for the snow thrower. Anything over an inch and I'd be having a tough time with the bucket.
Here's the specs on the soon-to-be-delivered tool:
- Legacy XL 4WD
- 27HP Kawasaki liquid cooled
- 54" deck with bagger and mulching kit
- 47" 2 stage snowthrower
- 48" Front end loader
- 9" Backhoe (I'm thinking about getting a 16" bucket for it)
I have a couple drainage problems I need to clear up before the winter hits, or I'm going to have a mud pit in my frontyard again.

Now that the rain has subsided, I've put it to work. I snapped a couple pics of it before it got too dirty. There's also some pictures of the backhoe frame to give you an idea of it's strength.

The FEL is a piece of cake to take off - less than a minute. It takes maybe a minute and a half to put back on (the key is to make sure you are on completely level ground - I found this out the hard way).
The backhoe takes a little longer. It took me 30-45 minutes, but I'd say now that I know how to do it, I could do it in 5-10. It was delivered from the dealer all set up, so I was following the directions to take it off. Apparently one of the installers connected a bolt where there wasn't supposed to be a bolt. So when I lowered the frame and tried to drive forward, the backhoe would come with me.
The deck and bagger take about 5 minutes to put on/take off. They don't call it Simplicity for nothin'. :)
The snow thrower looks equally simple (knock on wood).
It's a dream to work with. What an amazing piece of machinery.

I agree. Not knocking Kubotas, JD or any others, but this tractor is way under-appreciated on almost all sites. Now you got me drooling over the backhoe. My wife will kill me!!
