Agrifab GT rock rake

Has anyone used the 48" GT rock rake on their sleeve hitch setups? I was wondering if it was worth the money for doing jobs around the yard. I want to use it to rake sticks, pine needles, garden debris, etc. Here's a picture from the Agri-Fab website.

I bought this one from Northern Tool with the same thought in mind. It picks up the pine needles and twigs all right, along with the grass. It should work well for garden debris.

I finally ended up with a Brinly Hardy lawn sweeper that took care of the twigs and pine needles. I did a review on it that you can read here (http://72.29.68.123/~mytract/showthread.php?t=148)

I had the opportunity to use one of these once after I had already aquired the other rake. Worked great for windrowing the pine needles and debris from the lawn. I just couldn't justify another $500+ just after buying the other rake.

I have the Agri-fab 3PT rake on my Deere and it works just fine. If I wanted a pull behind I would have went with the York. I have heard a lot of good things about the York rake. slkpk

I used the York TA-1 pull behind for several years with a JD185 and was really pleased with it. When I moved up to tractors with 3PH's I made an adapter to fit, and have continued to use it for nearly twenty years now. It is a really well made high-quality unit.

That is definately what I want to use it for, going in circles in gravel like the video. :00000060:
I think I want one that is not a pull behind so I can back up my trailer and pull dirt, and mulch out of the back of the trailer.
Yo argee, is that an ATV? Are you taking valuable tractor seat time from yourself? Just kidding, I like atvs more than anything. We like to ride on my buddys land during the summer. We go out in the woods and have a bonfire in a clearing and then ride all night long through the creeks and trails.

I did have to use my friends 4x4 atv once to pull my bottomed out, stuck in the mud Bolens 1000 out of the garden. So I guess its not so bad afterall. He didnt even spin the tires or strain the engine for that matter....I guess I need to get some attachments for mine.

An ATV would pull that much to fast thus limiting quality seat time....ROF

I was seriously considering making one, they sell the "rake tines/springs" at the tractor supply store. I just dont know if I can get the dimensions and the adjustability like the rakes mentioned above.
