48" Powerflow Unit...for free...

Stopped by my local JD dealer for the first time in quite a while. First thing I do is go to the "bone yard" area and see if there is anything interesting. Today I found a 48" PowerFlow unit for a JD deck in really good condition. A pulley cover missing, but I might have seen it under the trailer, I think. I'll see when I go back. Otherwise, it's really nice and hopefully will fit the 46" deck that is on my JD 140.

Argee, yep, "go ahead and take it". I've been wanting it for quite a while but they wanted to sell it. It had all the pipes to go to the bagger before. This time it was stuck back under a 40 trailer they use for storage next to the bone yard. I need to go back and see if there's anything else I can scrounge...

That is a generation or two older than the one I had for my 425 since I don't see any clamps to lock on mower deck chute. The new one I have on my X485 is a greatly improved design but in can in no way match the price you got! :fing32:

Love those free toys. Greg, I agree that the redesign for the X powerflow is much better. I 'm looking forward to see what Deere does this year with their new line. slkpk
