Wondering if anyone has any input as to how good a tractor these are? Any input will be appreciated, as I have a chance to see and buy one tonight. I would like to gain as much info' about them as I can, before checking it out.
This is what I found...Loader, 60" finish mower, snow blower, cart, and thatcher...asking $5000... Wondering if this sounds reasonable?
Thanks

Wow, usually I am able to find specifications for many models but the 5215 seems to be obscured by the fact that Deutz bought Allis in '84, then merged (bought) Fahr, SAME bought Deutz-Fahr and AGCO bought Deutz-Allis (I believe AGCO now owns it all).
On other boards, I have read 5215 owners refer to their model as badged Deutz-Allis 18HP, 3 CYL. And conversations center around adding FEL's and other implements, but no complaints about the actual tractor.
Sorry, not much help.

I have owned a Deutz-Allis 5215 with a bucket, turf tires, and power steering for two years now. It has about 1100 hours and is going strong. The bucket is great and works well when filled with light weight material, but when filled with soil I would like to have tires with stiffer sidewalls than the turf tires. I run a 52 inch snow blower in low range and it works well but is slow. I really need a larger tractor for this purpose. The tractor helps maintain about one-quarter mile of gravel drive with a 48 inch box scraper. The price of $5000 quoted is more than fair for this tactor and implements. If you bought this tractor let me know how it worked out for you.

My tractor is a 1987 shuttle-shift and not a hydrostatic. I have not used a Bolens so cannot compare them.
