I have an Agri-fab 15 gallon pull behind sprayer that the pump may have given up the ghost. It's 10 years old and alot of use spraying 5 acres at least 3 times a year. Pump started to cycle when using the hand wand yesterday and have had this happen before, but normally using the pump adjustment switch I could always get it going again. Not this time. Any suggestions on this shurflo pump. Just wonder if the pump adjustment switch has gone bad or if I should replace the pump. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. slkpk :banghead3
try by-passing the adjustment switch and see what happens if the pump works fine then you'll know if its just the switch or not

Is anyone familiar with a Fimco pump compared to a shurflo pump. I can get a Fimco for less than half compared to a Shurflo. Both pumps look similar in design. Looks like you can interchange the 2 pumps. slkpk
never heard of a fimco pump but as long as pressures are similar it shouldn't be a problem

Check agri-supply. I know they sell femco sprayers and parts. Prices seem reasonable.
I couldn't find any information on the pump. Is it a little electric pump? Driven by a small 12 electric motor?
If it is electric, is it the motor that has quit working, or is the pump turning and not pumping?

I have the Shur-flo pumps and unless you the lead wire came loose you have probably got a bad pump. It sounds like you got a pretty good life span out of it and by the time you have someone look at it you could have a new one purchased. Do you have the 1.0, 1.4, 1.8, 3.0, or 3.6?

I only ask for clarification as I could imagine a vastly different aray of pumps , is that Femco or Fimco??

As far as I know Fimco makes the pump and Femco makes a ROPS canopy and equipment like that for gators and such.

I just replaced my sprayer from TSC that had a fimco pump. I only used the thing 5 times before the pump went up. TSC replaced it, but I sure hope it was a fluke.
