On my 1914 I have a FEL with a power beyond line.
I want to add rear fitting for a log splitter.
If I take the Power Beyond and use that for the Pressure Side, Do I use the to 'tank side' back to where the power beyond original went on the auxillary valve? Or do I need to tee it into the return line?

Second option would be to leave Power Beyond alone.
Tee the pressure & return side and add line to rear of tractor.

what is a better idea?

The pb sleeve goes into the first valve in line from the pump. The return line from that valves stays plumbed to the tank as does the return line from the second valve. You will end up with two return lines to the the tank, one from each valve. The supply line goes from the pump into the first valve, from there out the pb sleeve to the second valve and from there back to tank. Have a look at this thread http://tinyurl.com/yfwegw6 post #8.
Tee the pressure & return side and add line to rear of tractor.
Won't work, you can T the return lines with no problem the supply line you can't. The flow of oil will take the path of least resistance so if you operate one valve or the other the oil will flow thru the other valve back to tank.....Mike

Thanks Mike, reading your explaintion it now makes sence the Tee won't work.
If I understand right, now the FEL has a pressure line, return line and the PB line. There are three connections on the auxillary valve from the tractor to the JOY stick on the FEL
What I will do is disconnect the PB line that runs from the Joy Stick to the valve, and run it from the Joy stick to the Valve on the log splitter. Then from the log splitter back to the tractor and connect where the PB had returned.
Sounds easy.....famous last words around here
