Deutz...comparable to?

I just picked up a Deutz 916. I don't know the year. This is my first Simplicity "type" tractor. Therefore, knowing nothing about them, can anyone tell me if this Deutz is comparable to any of the Simplicity's, or Allis', that were made? I am hoping to find a blower and possibly a tiller, but don't want to go buy something that isn't going to work. My local dealer is a newer dealership for Simplicity, and he really doesn't know much about the older stuff.
