Could anyone help us identify Gramps' mate Phil's old mini tractor, please. I just put some photos up in the gallery here, which are also viewable in my flickr gallery; http://www.flickr.com/photos/mansedweller
We need to get the gearbox apart, because he thinks there's a broken selector fork dropped into it.
I reckon it's worth restoring.
What do you think?
that's a really cool looking old Kubota... I'd love to be able to get a small 4x4 diesel one day, something pre-1990. My grandpa had a Kubota 7150, I know it's not the same class, but it was my 1st and only "real" tractor I've had much experience on. So just for family sake do it!!!
Welcome aboard Stephen. To tell ya the truth, I can't tell a thing by the pic, other than it definitely looks salvageable
The link Mark provided to orange tractor talks may be your best bet as they KNOW the grey market Kubota's over there. Alot of the greys we see here are legal down your way and you may be right in that it could be an Austrailian market machine.
Good luck w/it
