Help Kubota vs. John Deere

Need some good advice... Money is not a real issue here, but rather performance and dependability... I have 4 acres, mostly lawn, along with maintaining around 160 acres wooded with trails where I have food plots. Looking for a tractor that is small in stature, but powerful enough to get the job done.. Here's what I've narrowed my choices to: KUBOTA BX 2660 or John Deere 2320.. I don't have an alegance to either brand, just want the best performer! Let me know what you think fellas!

Re: Kubota vs. John Deere

I'm not a CUT owner but I've seen on here that if you have any work in woods to do that the BX series Kubotas are low to the ground and sticks seem to cause damage to a fan. I believe the "B" series are a little taller and not so prone to this. I can't give you any comparison advice though.

Current Machine JD 322

Partial to JD myself, the main thing i would want is the closest dealer to me that i feel comfortable with when i walk into the place whether buying a tractor, mower or just a quart of oil.

Re: Kubota vs. John Deere

A good tractor but a bad dealer still makes for a bad tractor experiance when there are problems.. I love my JD's but if i had to travel a long distance to a dealer i would probably be swayed to the orange or red teams..

Re: Kubota vs. John Deere

I would urge you to consider jumping from the 2320 to the 2520. Lot more snort in basically the same package.
