Hello Folks,
I was cutting the lawn for a school board using their own GTH24V54 Mower and I leaned over the the machine to pick up a branch lying on the ground. When I leaned over the drive was in reverse and my side hit the shifter.
When I was ready to go again, I was left with only reverse gear.
If you move the shifter from Reverse to neutral and forward there is little to no resistance on the shifter.
I'm hoping it's just a bent linkage or a pin came out.
Does anyone have any details on how to dis-assemble to look for broken or damaged parts?.
How easy is it to manually engaged the shifter along the side of the tranny?
Thanks in advance,
GCG...
