TC 30 with a hyydraulic issue
New member here, I've got a 6 year old NH TC30 that just started up with a strange hydraulic issue. My front end loader is misbehaving--the raise/lower functions fine, but the tilt down function doesn't seem to be working. It tilts up OK, but when I move the lever to the right, it seems to only tilt down under its own weight. And when I move the lever all the way to the right, as if to dump the bucket, it tilts up!
Fluid level is OK. I just recently knocked the rubber coupler on the suction tube loose and lost most of my fluid, so I know it's fresh because I just replaced it. As an aside, I can't believe what that little 3-inch piece of rubber hose cost--$40!
The 3-point lift works OK.
Any ideas on what's going on? I'm a decent shade-tree mechanic, but my knowledge of hydraulics is lacking. This tractor is the first piece of powered hydraulic wquipment I've owned.
