DX25e tire question

I am in a bit of a quagmire. I have a dx25e. it's a good tractor but it has turf tires on it which really are poor for Northern Wisconsin. Thus I went to the local (ok, not so local) case IH dealer in Rice Lake. He claimed that I can fit 11.2 x 24 in the rear and 7 x 14 in the front (it;s 4wd). If true, that really would be a big help. The only thing is I am concerned that there simply is not enough room in the wheel well to have that tire. He claimed that it was an option when new.

SO, anyone run into this? I have searched the internet and found little, if any info on this. In fact, there does not seem to be anyplace where I can get any comprehensive info on besides the basics. Oh, I did check at the dealer for a service manual...and almost fell over at the price (279.95).

The issue that I have with the tractor is that whoever designed it put the trans-hydraulic filter smack dab in the center bottom of the tractor. Any little tree, twig, rock whatever can damage it. I have replaced two of them. Does someone make a remote filter setup for them? That would be handy...

I look forward to your help!!
