I prefer the R4's on my B2620, I only do loader/3pt work with it, if your working in muddy conditions all the time I would prob go with the R1's. If your working in the yard a lot and regrading roads/ working on pavment alot I would go with the R4's.
R1's can be harder on the lawn etc.
R4's most likely won't clean themselves in in really muddy conditions although I've never gotten mine stuck and have been in some pretty nasty mud pulling a 5ft box blade
