Ordered a 12V power point from the B2601 to put on my B2620.

I didn't want a cab tractor, but for those times when it is really brutal blowing snow in the winter, I bought a new full face helmet with a heated visor. So I needed a way to plug it in. Now I can use it for winter tractor, atv and snowmobile time.

Just have to decide where to put it.

And what do you all think....should I feed it's power off the starter where my dealer powered the work lights off of......or somewhere else.

Look under the right rear fender. There should be a fused connector there, though it may be covered with tape.

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet APinNY.

Where are those wires powered from? Are they enough to handle the power port?

I don't think that visor draws very much.

I believe they come through the key switch, so the power is off when the key is off. Several guys have wired up light bars from those connectors, so it should easily handle your visor.

I added one to my Roper, under the hood, next to the battery. Fused at 20A. Can be used with a 400W inverter, USB chargers, or LED 12V spot lamps. Engine doesn't need to be running. I assume you would be un-plugging the helmet when you are finished. Just a thought.

I ended up just running a wire to the starter where the battery cable attaches and put a fuse block on it. That's where my dealer had the work lights powered from.
So obviously it's not keyed power, but I only wanted my power point for my heated helmet shield when snowblowing.
But I haven't even used it yet this winter, LOL.

Then I used that black plastic conduit over the wiring to protect it from rubs and tied it all up.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the helmet and heated visor worked. I didn't try it most of the winter because I thought it would impede my visibility.

Then finally one day I tried it and it was great. The visor doesn't even get wet. No vision problems at all.
I kicked myself for not using it all winter.

Helmet is a G-Max GM11 Trekka Dual Sport. (in orange of coarse, LOL.)
