I inherited a 1238-h Gravely that was in boxes, motor, trans, body, wheels, etc. I've gotten the motor on, trans mounted, new belts. Now I'm stuck, I can't figure out where the drive idlers if any go. There are 2 brackets with idler gears in a box and they obviously mount to the underside, but they both seem to ride too low to be for the main drive. Once I get the drive squared away, I'll mount a mower that I got from a neighbor below, maybe the idlers some how are for that? What I really need is a good picture of an intact 1238-h showing the belt drive, steering connection, trans release, idler pulleys... Thanks for any help you can offer!! ID :tango_face_crying:

If you don't find what you are looking for here, try reposting on the Gravely sub-forum. There are a few guys that have 1200 series Gravelys. Fla Don is a very good one.
