Toro CCR 1000 snowblower- won't start when hot

I have a Toro CCR 1000 snowblower that starts fine when cold, but if you shut it off and then try restarting, it won't start.
If you let it sit for about 10 min., it starts fine again. BTW, it's a 2 cycle 3hp tecumseh engine.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I had a deal like that at one time and the coil was bad. As long as the engine was running the coil would stay cool, but shut off, it would gather heat and malfunction.

Every day is a victory.

Thanks professor, it doesn't sound too serious. Seems like an easy fix.

Re: Toro CCR 1000 snowblower- won't start when hot

Yes sir, the magneto is the same thing as the coil. This blower has a solid state ignition so it is the only part to replace, no points or condensor. My friend had to change the coil on his toro once, fixed the problem for him.
