Ernie, yours is ZIP-B, see the B in front of the serial #?
I'm guessing 1961-'62, the first and plain ZIP's were built in 1958-59, I THINK, don't hold that to me, they may have been built before that year, but yours is what they call a ZIP-B, if there was an A in front of the serial #, it would be a ZIP-A. No letter, and probably a six digit #, a plain ZIP, the plain is the oldest.
they had different bar sizes availiable, 14, 16,18, 20, maybe more larger ones, or a bow type bar.
good saw, but loud and heavy compared to today's saws.
nice find, even if it doesn't run.
