Re: is this possible?

Never heard of it, always wanted a big old Wisconsin engine and put it in my Sears Suburban, had a mechanic tell me it would tear that tractor up. The tail that waged the dog.

Re: is this possible?

You take it that what you are seeing is legit, do we know its diesel in the tank? no...

Its also not uncommon for a spark ignition engine to run on diesel that has been cut with gasoline...

Any engine not running off the heat of compression with fuel being injected in, is not a diesel engine.

Re: is this possible?

a farmer once told me he ran his old farm truck on half gas and half diesel, he said "it runs good but smokes a lot". I asked him why he did that and he said his brother in law works for the county. He must have been getting the diesel cheap or free.
