The Drainzit is not a quick drain with a valve or such... It has a threaded fitting on the end and a cap with an o-ring. I wouldn't put one of those quick drain valve type devices on i don't trust them, but i know some swear by them.
The Drainzit doesn't take any more room than the stock drain plug, so it can go on an engine that is flush mounted onto a surface. Just spin it in like a drain plug, i didn't need to move the engine on my snowblower just pulled the plug, drained the oil, cleaned up the mess, then spun in the Drainzit hose and done. No problemo!
