Re: Dremel Multi-Max vs. Rockwell Soniccrafter Oscilatting saws
For sheetrock, use a rotozip....they're inexpensive, and last forever.
I've been using the same Fein for years...for cutting windshields out, and any application where there's a glued seal. They are worth every penny.
I was an assistant manager for sears...worked my my way up from tool dept manager......I dealt mainly with contactors, as I was one.
Tools re the only thing left where the rule still is "You get what you pay for".
So brands like Milwaukee, and portercable, snap-on, fein....are more expensive for a reason....they last.
Rockwell, has made some good tools over the years, but they are Home depots brand ....and HD, is not synonymous with quality. 99% of what they sell is disposable. Made for the typical homeowner who will use it a couple times a year, and be gentle with what ever it is.
Personally, I abuse tools. So I demand things that will last.
Dremel is a good name.
Flyfishing isn't a sport, it's a way of life.
