How/When does the "5 Year" member logo get activated

Is there something I could/should/need to do to initiate the display of the cool "5 year" member badge I see on many folks posts? According to my Join Date of June 2010, if my math is correct (all done on one hand), I think I am qualified.

And, I know, this is hardly a serious issue, just a curiosity on a rainy Monday morning.

Thanks

Let's just steal Paul's 10 year badge, rip it in half, and we'll each get half.

My understanding is that one of the Admins is doing the calligraphy by hand and his ink pot has a leak. Since the only source for the colour of ink being used is Sierra Leone, he's been patiently(?) waiting for his next shipment via tramp steamer.

I was wondering the same thing. Not that it's a big deal, but my 4 & 6 year old granddaughters give stickers for everything. lol

Looking into it, gents. I checked the control panel for a few of you and you are checked for the 5 years membership. And, you are all current on your admin gratuity fees as best I can tell...... I'll talk to the other admins and see how these have been applied manually of late. (Should be automatic, but as you can see, it isn't.) If necessary, we'll add it to your signature line.

Dunno if I count or not; as my dues haven't been constant for the entire 5 years. That might be a disqualification I might bet...

Re: How/When does the "5 Year" member logo get activated

They had to go back to being applied manually. There was no way in the controls to set the software to remove the 5 year once the 10 year came on. So they were getting stacked which was taking up extra side space and there were some complaints from members about it. So VS set the 5 year back to manual. That way we can select one or the other. Once the 10 year turns on we can then manually shut off the 5 year.

Are the Logo's kinda like a chip or coin you get at an "AA" meeting, except in this case it means you are still addicted to this site and your equipment? I guess I'm up for a 5 yr one also.
