How Do I Add or Change the Photo in my Avatar?

A question that comes up from time to time is "How do I add a photo to my avatar?" Here's how to add one or change it. Click on any of the images below to make them larger.

Across the top of the forum page, or just about any MTF page, even above, you will see a white bar going across the screen that has the thread information in it and a row of links across the bottom. Going from left to right, the links are Home, FAQ, etc., keep going about half way across the screen until you come to UserCP and click it.

On the next page that loads you will see a menu down the left side labeled Your Control Panel across the top. Look down until you see Settings & Options. Click on the first link that says Edit Avatar.

On the next screen, you will see your current Avatar, a group of Avatars preloaded onto MTF to choose from and options at the bottom to choose your own. There's a spot to link to a picture on a photo hosting site such as Photobucket. There's also a spot to upload your own from your PC. Click the Browse button and navigate to your picture on your PC, select it and click the Open button on the lower right hand side of the window and then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen to upload and set it.

That's all there is to it. I hope this helps. House Rules
