Wasn't it you, Wayne, that asked for it awhile back ? I know there have been others too...

It was Ken in NJ who greased the right wheels, and perhaps others that cleaned the 'zerks' !

You mind explaining to an old timer exactly how to use this feature?

Hit the multi-quote button on every reply you want to quote and then hit the regular quote.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it!

To use the Multi-Quote button (), click the Multi-Quote () button on each of the posts that you want to quote except the last one. Then, on the last post that you want to post, click the regular Quote button. The next screen where you would normally type in your post/response, each of the quoted posts are automatically entered into the Message box for your responses.

Re: Multi Quote Icon

Along the same "quoting" lines... How do you quote just one line and get the quotee's name above as the heading? I've seen that done but can't figger out how to do that either. Even highlighting the single line I get the whole post. Doh.

You have to edit/delete all the unwanted contents from the quote before you submit the post.

Re: Multi Quote Icon

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I used the multi quote button once and now on every thread you quote the same quote comes up even across forums/rooms very strange.

I certainly won't use it anymore till I can get this sorted out.

Just a thought, but have you tried clearing your internet browser cache and trying it again? I'd bet it's just a glitch in your browser.

Yes Sir that was my first though also, I tried three times and no-joy ?

I'll do some work on it and see if I can clear it up.

Re: Multi Quote Icon

OK, the next suggestion that I can think of would be to clear your history, log out of MTF, and restart your PC.

After that, I'm out of ideas.

Re: Multi Quote Icon

When you post the next time, there is a place at the bottom of the box to deselect quotes from the multiquote function. Click on the deselect.
