I had signed on with Andy in 2003 when he started TF..

There was not much activity in the early days, so i lost interest in the site and continued with other tractor forums. Then one day i was surfing thru some of my favorites file and clicked on TF and got hooked..

When the plug was pulled, i was lost like hundreds of others..Durwood posted a message on another site with his e mail addy and here i am!!

How did I hear about MTF? I read a message about the opening of a new site to replace the old TF on tonPlus. Those first days, best I can remember, this site didnít have a name, but a number (canít remember the number). I checked in on the url that had numbers until MTF got itís present name. So, you could say I learned about MTF on MTF, but actually it was on tonPlus. I hope that makes sense.

Although I canít remember the details exactly as they occurred, Iím sure glad we have the site back and will again say thanks to those who brought it to be.

You will notice Iím not saying how I learned of the tonplus site, nor will I, as that may tend to incriminate the guilty. They know who they are and Iíll just say thanks without mentioning any names.

While Iím passing out thanks I want to remember Psrumors, the Administrator of tonPlus, who let us (the guilty ones) camp out on his site until MTF found itís legs.

Then there is Andy the administrator of TF, I think he deserves a little thanks, as it was he who showed us what a enjoyable site should look like. So, Andy where ever you are - THANKS - and if you are checking in on us, hope it isnít long before you can join the fun here.

Thumbs up

I was going thru withdrawal pains from T.F so after a week or so i decided i needed to hunt down some of the old members on other sites to find out if they knew what was going on. . I found Duc and E mailed him and then left a message for Chief to e-mail me at another site. I can't remember but somehow i got a hold of Joe and left him a message and i left Argee a message at another board. . Chief told me about the tonplus site and so i went there and there were some of the members there. John and me had PMed back and forth and he said that he was gonna put a site up. I tried to tell people about the tonsplus site to get hooked back up with old members and once John said the new MTF site was up i started leaving messages for everybody that i could find or knew what sites they hung out at. I'm still trying to remember people that we might have forgotten.

I found this board the same way I found the old TF. It was on Gardenweb! Right before the old board went down, I made a post thanking the person who laid their membership down (got banned) for telling everone about this site. Well again I tip my hat, slip the clutch and away we go!

I saw the 30 second TV ad for MTF during the superbowl. Wait, that was the MGD ad I'm thinking of.

Oh, MTF... I was involved with the pre-MTF group over on Yahoo which Paul B organized out of former MODs from TF.
