Front mount blade for 8n???

I am thinking about trying to mount this. Has anyone done it??

I am only using this for snow so it does not need to heavy duty. And I am going to use a Gravely GT snow blade. lol
It will need to be widened and frame modified to mount ,,,and work with the 3 point lift. A cable on each side up to the front,,arms on lift tighten cables(though pulleys and lift the blade,,, in the front)

I just slid the blade under tractor and took a peak. There is little to nowhere to mount any brackets. The hitch in the back would work for strength in pushing,,and the front bumper would work to attach pulleys/cables for lifting.
But I need something in the middle to hold blade frame up off ground,,would really have little tension on it. I don't see much to grab onto with a bracket.

If I'm going to keep this tractor,,I need to find a use for it!!!

The way it looks I will be able to modify the hand angle handle ,,,to be able to reach it from seat,,,so I can angle blade.

I got to admit though,,it looks awful small in front of the 8n.:sidelaugh

Yes I got it done,,,,,,,,,, but we have not had any snow to plow. For this part of MI it is un real that we have not had more than 2" total at any one time.
And since I have many smaller GTs with blades,,I can't bring myself to get the 8n out for a dusting of snow.Ya know what I mean??

I know what you mean. I'm getting a lot done this winter because of no snow. We haven't had anything but a dusting since that 16" snowstorm we got in Oct. Right now it's snowing with about 4" on the ground and another 4" or so coming. Just waiting for it to stop so I can get the plowing done.
Putting together another plow for sale. Still have to find the angles (or make a new set) and the hose and valve for the hook up.

(Digging up old posts) I was wondering if anyone has used a truck snow plow setup? All the mounts that come with it the hydro pump, then just make brackets and mounts to attach to front of the tractor. You would need 12 volts to run the pump. You would have up, down, and side to side movement with no wenches or cables. Also free up your 3 point for weights or rear blade. I was thinking of doing this just adding something so the force is on the rear but im still 6 volts so thats a problem.
