3020 electronic ignition

Has anyone used one of these kits? I heard my dad talk of one and thought it would make a good gift.

I had never even heard of it until now. Got a link or some pics to show us what it is?

Re: 3020 electronic ignition

The kit is from Deere. They sell for $210.00 plus shipping.
I can order you one and have it shipped to you.
I will need your serial number, above or below 123,000

Re: 3020 electronic ignition

Walt has obviously never been trying to feed cattle in the middle of a blizzard with a gas powered tractor and a bad set of points

My neighbor put electronic ignition on his 706 Farmall, and it did help, but then he turned around and sold it so never heard how the long term thing worked out for him.

I like fine looking women, IH tractors and cabover Petes....in that order.
