Good mulching blades for 48 inch Kubota tractor

Just wondering if there are alternatives to gator blades for 48 inch bx 1850 Kubota tractor. I am using the vacuum system currently. I have a ton of leaves in the fall and my current system does not mulch very well.

The Kubota mulching blades work well for me along with the DR vacuum.

Re: Good mulching blades for 48 inch Kubota tractor

Hubert,
I would like to upgrade the blades on my 48" deck but have not found a replacement blade. I use a Cyclone Rake, but would prefer to leave clippings on the lawn, and save the CL for leaves. Let's hope someone has a specific recommendation for those of us with the 48s.

Rich, I do use the Kubota mulching blades for mowing and they mulch well. Additionally, when I remove the mulch plate and use the lawn vac, those same blades also work very well for leaves.

I remember reading somewhere that you could use, I believe a cub cudet gator blade, but you have to use a bushing to fill the difference in the center hole. Does anyone know anything about this.
Thanks
