Re: removing air in hydraulic system
Is it slow to respond on the lifting or on the releasing?I'm thinking that if air is in the system,it would state something in a service manual about how to bleed it off?I would call a MF dealer service dept.in your area and ask them about it.I would also look for a petcock of some kind close the pump.I can barely remember a vent thing on the top of the reservoir of a MF20 I had, must have been a one way type air thing or it would have shot fluid everywhere. That's why I said it would bleed itself off.Think about it,everytime you add or ck fulid level you are opening the system,so to speak. So therefore it has air that has to be bleed off?Maybe a bad air/check valve in the reservoir tank? These are just shots in the air, that's why I'd ck with a service dept.with MF.
