The road home

So , after a good day of work, or coming home from a long trip, I see this view.....

And it is right about then , that I decompress, and let it all go, knowing that there is another tomorrow. I can leave work behind, and move on. Then comes the other corner....just around the bend at the bottom of that hill..

ahhhhh....

With this corner, I know that this is not far behind....

What say you - do you have a spot somewhere the world, where the days stresses are left behind? This just happens to be mine in my everyday life.

Post a pic, and a little story if you care to.

Re: The road home

I know exactly what you mean.....some people have a long drive to and from work to unwind. But depending on the ride, traffic could make your day even worse. I am very fortunate to have a 6 minute drive to work...but I love it because of the fact that it is just a back country road and I love where I live.
Here, you can take the trip with me....time to head home.

Fun ride home. I like that there are no traffic lights. I cannot imagine the draw of a city, except to visit.

Re: The road home

When I'm not getting paid to work, my trip to work consist of stepping out on the back deck at sunrise and see what Mother Nature has in store for me. This morning was a beauty. This makes the entire day go better!
