Wheel weights, my kingdom for some wheel weights

Dramatic, no?

Just wondering what your best non-factory wheel weight ideas would be for a rider?

Barbell plates? Other brand cast iron that fits? Home made?

Re: Wheel weights, my kingdom for some wheel weights

I have a set of black plastic wrapped Wheel Horse weights that came with my 16g. I'm going to sell them off for some cast ones, any for 12" wheels should fit.

My beautiful Bride.

Between the Rim Guard and the cast weights I run over 250 lbs per side Plus my 260lb ars and a weight box full of cement slabs.
Once you spin the wheels you’re all done.

Gotta love those thumpers.

Re: Wheel weights, my kingdom for some wheel weights

Back in 2007, the voles got into my parent's garden. They were nesting underneath the strips of tarps that were put down in the greenhouse for walking paths and to keep weeds down. They really loved the new bean plants, and several others as well. It sent my mom on the warpath, trying to exterminate them or eliminate their habitat. She succeeded (of course). As a joke, I made her the "Voleslayer Award" pictured below. Yes, that is a real intact vole skull that I had found in the "contested territories." She and my Dad both got a chuckle out of it.

Re: Wheel weights, my kingdom for some wheel weights

Well how much does a FRONT tire full of washer fluid or RimGuard weigh? I need about 30 pounds or so per wheel.

And how do you get the liquid into the tire? I think I've seen a post somewhere about this.

Re: Wheel weights, my kingdom for some wheel weights

If you can find them, wheel horse weights often fit on the inside of many tractor wheels.
My jd 455 has wheelhorse weights on the inside, mf 2 piece weights on the outside
lets me cut across steep slopes and keeps the weight down low.
Loading tires is obvious.
