Re: Gravely's at a public auction

Here's the ad:

http://baltimore.craigslist.org/gms/3723774830.html

It's too far for me to make the trip, not knowing what the bidding completion will be like.

If anyone on MTF goes and picks up the 24G with the 60 inch deck... and wants the larger 72 inch deck for the tractor, I would consider making a trade.

I need a 60 for my 24G... and I have enough of the pieces to build a 60 with scavenged parts from ProMaster Units, but an easy trade would suit me fine.

If anyone goes, please take and post pictures.

All the best,
Tom

Tom - you might want to touch base with Ron C. on this auction (arcam8123). This is something he might be planning on attending or would consider attending on your behalf.

Re: Gravely's at a public auction

Thanks for the link with the pictures. There was only one picture of the 24G and it shows that the tractor has the larger 72 inch deck attached. So at this point I'm out of this hunt.

If anyone happens to come across a 60 inch mower deck for a 24G, I will pay a bounty of a 6 pack of your favorite adult beverage for any leads.

Re: Gravely's at a public auction

Yes, I'll be there. The tractors belonged to Don G. I'm not sure if he was on here but he was on Yahoo. Really nice helpful guy. He passed July of 2012. I've seen the tractors and they are well used. Don was a user and not a collector. If my memory serves me right (and it rarely does) the 24 had over 2000 hours on it. He had offered it to me in 2011, but I passed.

It wasn't me, but it was a GTCOA member that doesn't do much computer time. I had asked him if he was on here or Yahoo, and he said he prefers Gravelys to computers.
