Anyone repower HO locomotives???

OK, so I have two old HO scale locomotives that were my stepdads, and they dont work anymore. One is a older plastic "Big Boy" that runs, but parts of the frame are broken, and the other is a old cast steam locomotive that is in nine shape, but no longer runs. You know...there not realy anything special...not Brass or anything, but kinda been in the famley forever, I would like to get them running agean.

Any of you model reailroaders ever repower any old steam engine models???

Yup. I've got several locomotives that I have repowered. It's not as hard as you think, kind of like restoring a tractor, but you get to stay a lot cleaner and sit inside where the climate is controlled.

Here's a great place for parts, AND they have good online tutorials!

Always do the right thing; not because it's easy, but because it's harder.

It's always a pleasure to work with good tools and the BX2370 is amazing!
