Ford 961 3 point seems to lift slow

my 961 seems like it does not have much 3 point lifting power when I try to lift a blade.

When my Dad was a kid their 8N Ford would lift the blade, but he says my 961 lifts it way to slow. I will give some lifting times. I'm going out to test it now.
(It's 100+ outside!!)

well I went out to test and mabey there is a better way to test it. i dunno. I hooked on our ford blade and ran the tractor at barely faster than idle, but I think the throttle creeps so it might have gone down to a flat idle. the results were: 1.8'' to the minute at end of the three point arm. is this slower than normal?? if it is, how do I fix it??

thank's a ton!
