Ford 3000 gas Holley carb rebuild
My first post!
I just got the Ford 3000 a week or so ago. It had been sitting a good bit, maybe 5 hours of use over the last couple of years. So its running a little rough, poping and so forth. I am going to give it a good going over and tune up. The problem I am having is finding a source for instructions on rebuilding the carb. My shop manual doesn't have much at all, kind of disappointing. Maybe I am just over thinking it. I have done several carb rebuilds over the years and it seems I would normally have some basic instructions with the rebuild kit. Mine came with just the parts. Where do I start with the mix screw, one turn out? and so forth....
3rd tractor 1966 Ford 3000 gas
2nd tractor Yanmar 2000 (hated it,sold it after 3 weeks)
1st tractor 1948 Ferguson TE-20 (loved it)
Non-tractor project a 1969 Chevy C-10
Keep it simple and be debt free!

I usually start with a turn and a half out on both screws to get it to start start then adjust from there after I get it up to temp.
Social media is a cesspool of questionable human behavior.
There was a time when people had diary's and would be rather upset if anyone read it.
Now people put everything on Facebook and get really upset if people don't read it.
Even duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound!
The biggest lie I tell myself is "I don't need to write that down, I'll remember it."
