Re: mobil 1 15w50 in hydro
I have to jump in here, I have been using Mobil 1 for several years in my motorcycles (Gold wings), and have not had any problems year round. Here in New England it gets kind of brisk during the winter, and when I was a working stiff I rode year round except when there was ice or snow on the road. I did have to question my sanity a couple of times while suiting up when the temp was hoovering around 18 deg. The 15-50 did not give a problem. I started using it in a 1200CC Kawasaki Voyager, and the first thing I noticed is that I could shift it without hearing the gears clash. I used to pull a camper with the wings, and never had a problem. I used the 15-50 in my old Rears, and Throwback (Sears) riding lawn mower, however I did not use that in the winter. I will be using it in my CC in another week or 2 as I almost have 50 hours on it........
