Yeah, on some of mine I go with what they like...not even sure what the gap is on the 243431. On the 9hp, 23D it is .025" by the book. I'd say you're probably good around .03", or at least start there.
While we're at it, does anyone have the link to the 24, 30 and 32CI engine ops manuals? I never have nailed down locating egine books. I have the PDF's of the parts manuals, but not the Op & Maint manuals. Probably would be great for folks here to grab onto and download.
See thanks a lot I will try one of those also. I did just gap it at 25 and took it around the block ran well but I am always up for tuning I had a laser brand plug that was gapped for 30 in it prior. Did run good till I started pulling heavy loads of tree limbs and shrub with a chain up my back yard for about 40 yards or more too my 2wd truck. Ive done 9 pulls up the hill after the 3 rd plug started to not fire well every few stokes. I have also been bulldozing. Soon as I get time tosit down with comp ill post my non action shots. The wife needs too video one of these limb pulls. 2nd gear 1/2 to 3/4 throttle with some impressive loads I didn't think such a small engine could pull. Had to put a fifty pound weight tacked to a peace of round stock to put on hitch so I could keep it from spinning. I really need wheelwheights
